First list of 124 congress candidates includes five from DK
Bengaluru: The congress on Saturday announced its first list of 124 candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in Karnataka constituency.
The list also mentions the name of Five candidates from Dakshina Kannada including the deputy leader of Opposition U.T. Khader.

One person questioned in Saif Ali Khan attack case
Mumbai: Mumbai Police brought a person to the Bandra police station on Friday for questioning, over 30 hours after an alleged attack on actor Saif Ali Khan at his apartment in the ‘Satguru Sharan’ building.
According to officials, the police formed 20 teams and utilised their network of informers to locate and arrest the suspect.
The crime branch and local police are also analysing technical data, including the number of active mobile phones in the area during the incident, which is being investigated as a “burglary attempt.”
