Hyderabad: 23-year-old student ends life over 'fall' in viewers to his Youtube channel
Hyderabad, Jul 21: A 23-year-old student allegedly died by suicide here on Thursday reportedly due to decline in viewers to his channel on YouTube, police said.
The deceased student, who was pursuing a course in the IIITM, Gwalior, jumped from the third floor of a residential building today morning and died on the spot, they said.
In a suicide note purportedly written by the student, he stated that viewers to his channel on YouTube had decreased and that his parents are not guiding him on his career due to which he reportedly got disturbed, an official of Saidabad police station said.
He was residing at an apartment here and currently studying through online classes for his course, police said.
The student used to upload video-games content on his channel, police said adding a case has been registered.

Patna-bound IndiGo flight makes emergency landing at Lucknow due to bad weather
Lucknow (PTI): Adverse weather forced an IndiGo Kolkata-Patna flight to make an emergency landing at Lucknow airport on Friday, airport sources said.
According to airport officials, weather conditions in Patna deteriorated suddenly on Friday afternoon, affecting flight operations.
IndiGo flight 6E 6917 from Kolkata, which was scheduled to land in Patna at 3.50 pm, could not land due to bad weather and kept circling in the air after failing to get clearance from air traffic control, they said.
The flight was later diverted to Lucknow and landed safely at the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport at around 5.15 pm. There were 180 passengers and six crew members on board, officials said.
The aircraft was later allowed to depart for Patna after weather conditions improved.
