Aurangabad: The Institute of The Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) declared its results of CS Executive and Professional Programme Examinations of Company Secretaries on Tuesday Feb 26.

Pranjal Chechani daughter of Manish Kumar Chechani and Madhulika Chechani, cracked all modules of the examination in first attempt and also secured 17th All India Rank (AIR) in the merit list from Aurangabad Centre.

Pranjal took the examinations that were held between December 20-30, 2018 from the Aurangabad centre, one of the three centres the ICSI runs at along with Ahmednagar and Jalgaon.

Aurangabad centre’s chairman CS Prasad Sathish Takalkar and Secretary CS Samruddhi Dilip Lunawat congratulated Pranjal and other students of the centre, for clearing examination.

Among all the modules, 15 out of 93 students in the first module passed the examination. In the second module 6 out of 60 students passed while 8 out of 86 students passed in the third module of examination.

The next batch of examination of Company secretaries Executive Programme and CS Professional Prorgamme will be held from June 1-10, 2019.

Washington, Mar 26 (PTI): India’s Deputy Chief of Mission in the US Namgya Khampa met Congresswoman Sarah Elfreth to discuss further strengthening collaboration in defence, trade and investment.

Khampa met the Democrat Congresswoman from Maryland, who is a member of the House Armed Services Committee, here on Wednesday.

“They discussed recent global developments and ways to further strengthen India-US collaboration in defence, trade & investment, and people-to-people ties,” the Indian Embassy here said in a post on X.

On Tuesday, the deputy chief of mission met Congresswoman Suzan DelBene from Washington state and thanked her for her support to the India-US partnership.

“They discussed issues of bilateral interest -- trade, technology, defence partnership, and recognised the contributions of the Indian-American community in the relationship,” the Embassy said.
