Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has made a bold prediction regarding the Lok Sabha elections, stating that if the Congress party crosses the 100-seat mark, the INDIA alliance will secure power at the Centre. He further projected that the Congress could potentially win as many as 150 seats.
"If Congress crosses the mark of 100 Lok Sabha seats, the INDIA alliance will come to power," Raut said, emphasizing the pivotal role the Congress party could play in the coalition's success. He added, "The Congress party could even reach the mark of 150 Lok Sabha seats."
Raut also highlighted the potential leadership outcome should the Congress emerge as the largest party in the coalition. "If Congress emerges as the biggest party, the Prime Minister will be from the Congress party," he asserted.
Expressing the popular sentiment, Raut remarked, "It is the wish of the nation that Rahul Gandhi should lead the nation," signaling widespread support for the Congress leader's potential premiership.
