New Delhi, June 11: Back from China after attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan here and briefed him on the meet as well as his recent Southeast Asia visits.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on President Kovind and briefed him on his recent visits to Southeast Asia and to the SCO summit in China," the Rashtrapati Bhavan said in a tweet.

India, which participated in the Chinese-led SCO on Sunday for the first time after being inducted into the grouping last year, again said "no" to China's Belt and Road project as the rest of the member states endorsed Beijing's initiative in the joint declaration.

Earlier, on a five-day three-nation tour of Southeast Asia starting May 29, Modi visited Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
