New Delhi: Senior television journalist Sreenivasan Jain, who had been with NDTV since 1995, on Saturday announced that he has resigned from the news channel.
Jain posted on his Twitter handle, “An amazing, nearly three-decade long run at NDTV comes to an end today. The decision to resign wasn’t easy, but...it is what it is. More later.”
His resignation follows that of award-winning journalist Ravish Kumar and senior executives of NDTV over the last few months, after the Adani Group took over the channel. Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy, founders of NDTV, had also left the company’s board in December, reports Scroll.
Jain was the anchor of programmes ‘Reality Check’ and ‘Truth vs Hype’ on NDTV and won several awards for his investigative reports.
