New Delhi: Aaftab Poonawala, who is accused of murdering his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar, confessed on Tuesday during the polygraph test that he did not regret his actions.

The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) officials said that Aaftab admitted to killing Shraddha as well as dumping her chopped body parts in the jungle, but had no feeling of remorse. He also confessed before the officials that he had been dating several women, reports India Today.

Aaftab was brought to the FSL office in the city for the polygraph test on Tuesday amid high security as he had been attacked by some people on Monday.

During the polygraph session, Aaftab is said to have behaved normally and also told the police that he had already given the details about the case.

The first and second sessions of Aaftab’s polygraph test had been deferred, the first due to ill health. The third and fourth sessions were conducted on November 25 and 26, respectively.

A final report of the sessions of the test is being prepared by the experts. The report on a pre-medical test conducted on Aaftab on Tuesday is expected on Wednesday.

The court has also permitted the police to conduct a narcoanalysis test on the accused on December 1, as the Delhi Police had said that Aaftab had been giving misleading answers during questioning.

Aaftab is accused of having strangled his partner Shraddha at their home in Mehrauli in South Delhi on May 18 and cut her body into 35 parts before dumping the body parts. He was arrested on November 12.
