Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad Yadav has expelled his eldest son, Tej Pratap Yadav, from the party for a period of six years. This decision comes shortly after a controversial post appeared on Tej Pratap Yadav's Facebook account, which has since been deleted.
The now-deleted post, which surfaced on Saturday, May 24, 2025, featured a photograph of Tej Pratap Yadav alongside a woman identified as Anushka Yadav. The caption of the post claimed that the two had been in a loving relationship for the past twelve years. This revelation gained significant traction online, particularly in light of Tej Pratap Yadav's existing marital relationship with Aishwarya Rai.
Following the emergence and subsequent deletion of the post, Tej Pratap Yadav alleged that his Facebook account had been hacked and the content was fabricated to tarnish his and his family's reputation. However, RJD patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav, in announcing his son's expulsion on Sunday, stated that the decision was due to Tej Pratap "ignoring moral values" in his personal life, which he believes weakens the community's fight for social justice.
