# Raja Singh made these accusations and claims in a video message

# An AIMIM spokesperson said that the party does not want to react

# Raja Singh also said that he will consult legal experts on rules regarding oath-taking ceremony

Telangana, Jan 06: Telangana BJP MLA T Raja Singh on Sunday said that he would not take oath in the presence of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) legislator Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, who would be acting as a pro-tem Speaker and alleged that the Asaduddin Owaisi-led party is anti-Hindu.

The other reasons for his refusal to take oath in the presence of an AIMIM pro-tem Speaker are that the party never sings Vande Mataram and refuses to chant Bharat Mata ki Jai.

On January 16, Mumtaz Ahmed Khan would take oath as pro-tem Speaker at Raj Bhavan. The MLAs would be taking oath on January 17.

Raja Singh, a legislator from Goshamahal, made these accusations and claims in a video message posted on his Twitter handle.

The video tweet was captioned: "#Telangana government decided to make #AIMIM MLA as pro-tem Speaker of newly elected #Telangana Assembly. I wouldn't take oath in front of such speaker."

"Telangana chief minister who is a follower of Nizam [the erstwhile ruler of Hyderabad state] and MIM took a decision at night to make an MIM MLA pro-tem speaker. I will not go to the assembly and take oath in his presence. Other party leaders may go but I will not," Raja Singh said.

"I, Raja Singh, will not take oath in presence of such a party leader whose party [AIMIM] speaks of finishing off the Hindus. I will not take oath in presence of a leader whose party never sing Vande Mataram or say Bharat Mata ki Jai."

Raja Singh also said that he will consult legal experts on rules regarding oath-taking ceremony.

On Raja Singh's statement, an AIMIM spokesperson told PTI that the party does not want to react. The first session of the newly-elected assembly will be held from January 17 to 20.
