Muzaffarnagar (UP): An undated video depicting a teacher allegedly encouraging Hindu students to slap a Muslim student has gone viral, prompting a response from the Muzaffarnagar Police in Uttar Pradesh. The official Twitter handle of Muzaffarnagar Police announced, "The station in-charge of Mansoorpur has been directed to investigate and take necessary action."

The video features a teacher, identified as Tripta Tyagi in some reports, seemingly engaging in a conversation with someone off-camera. In the video, the teacher can be heard saying, "I have declared jitne bhi Mohammedan bachhe hai..." which translates to "I have declared all the Muslim kids..." She appears to be encouraging Hindu students to physically harm a Muslim student in the class.

The video captures one student physically assaulting another, presumably the Muslim student, who can be seen in distress. The teacher's voice can be heard urging the students to deliver more forceful blows. She says, "Aey kya tum maar rahe ho iske.. jor se maaro naa...chalo aur kiska number hai," which translates to "What are you doing? Why are you not beating him harder? Come on, whose turn is it now."

Another student joins in and strikes the Muslim student as instructed by the teacher, targeting the waist area.

Sources indicate that the incident occurred at Neha Public School in the village of Khubbapur in Muzaffarnagar. The students in the video are seen sitting on the floor.

After the video surfaced, journalist and fact-checker Mohammed Zubair shared additional information on Twitter, stating that the father of the Muslim student, Irshad, decided not to send his son Altamash to school anymore. According to Zubair, the teacher apologized in the presence of the police, and Irshad chose not to file a formal complaint against the teacher.
