Ahmedabad: A video of a youngster blaming the Aam Aadmi Party government for the poor education system in Gujarat is doing rounds on social media platforms.

In the video, a reporter can be seen asking a youngster about his education and his opinion about the state of the education system in Gujarat.

The youngster in the video blames “Government” for the poor education system but when asked if the BJP government was to be blamed for the failure of the education system in the state, the youngster insisted not the BJP but the AAP government is to be blamed.

When the reporter then reminded the youngster that the AAP government is in Delhi and it is the BJP that is governing the state for the past 27 years, the youngster left the interview abruptly saying he doesn’t want to speak.

Several social media users ridiculed the youngster for wearing a saffron BJP shawl around his neck while not knowing that his party has been in power in the state for nearly three decades.

Thiruvananthapuram/New Delhi (PTI): Congress general secretary (organisation) K C Venugopal on Thursday accepted the party decision to select V D Satheesan as the chief minister of Kerala and congratulated him.

Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Venugopal, who was one of the three persons being considered for the post, said he will provide all support to the CM and the UDF government in Kerala.

The decision comes more than 10 days after the results of the April Assembly polls in Kerala were declared.

The Congress-led UDF secured a more than two-thirds majority in the Kerala Assembly elections, but the party has been unable to decide its chief ministerial face due to lobbying by different camps and protests by workers at the ground level.

Besides, Satheesan and Venugopal, senior Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala was also in the race for the CM post.
