New Delhi: The Congress party has appointed 43 AICC observers to oversee the selection process of District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents. Among the appointed observers are four leaders from Karnataka — B.K. Hariprasad, B.M. Sandeep, Suraj Hegde, and B.V. Srinivas.

Dewas (MP): A group of people forcibly entered the famous Mata Tekri temple in Madhya Pradesh's Dewas city after it had closed for the night and allegedly beat up its priest as he refused to let them in, police said.

The rally, held to mark the birth anniversary of Rajput icon Rana Sanga, witnessed the participation of thousands of Karni Sena members, many of whom were seen carrying weapons in the presence of the police.
