New criminal laws will target poor, Muslims, Adivasis and Dalits: Asaduddin Owaisi

AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi has voiced strong criticism against the three new criminal laws that came into effect on July 1, alleging that they will disproportionately impact the poor, weaker sections, Muslims, Adivasis, and Dalits. Speaking at a seminar, Owaisi claimed that the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA) will curtail the rights of the common people and grant extensive powers to the police.
