Former PNB chief manager, two associates held in Delhi for loan fraud

New Delhi, Dec 23: A former chief manager of a public sector bank and his two associates were arrested in Delhi for allegedly misappropriating funds through a loan fraud, police said on Wednesday.


Farmer unions ask govt to come to table with 'open mind'

New Delhi: Asserting that the ball is in the Centre's court, protesting farmer unions on Wednesday asked it to come up with a new concrete proposal for resumption of talks, even as Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar underscored that dialogue was the only way for a solution and the government was committed to reforms in the farm sector.
