SC seeks Samay Raina, other social media influencers’ presence in court for 'ridiculing' disabled

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday sought the presence of five social media influencers, including "India's Got Latent" host Samay Raina, on a plea of an NGO which alleged that they ridiculed persons with a rare disorder Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) on their show.

 


Woman dies after C-section by fake surgeon in Gorakhpur, hospital sealed

In a shocking incident, a young woman lost her life during a cesarean operation allegedly performed by an OT technician posing as a doctor in Gorakhpur. The unqualified man had reportedly conducted 15 surgeries earlier. Police sealed the unlicensed hospital and arrested the technician, his son, and an Asha worker after a complaint was filed by the victim’s husband. The police are searching for the couple who owns the hospital.
