Jammu: Noted Bollywood film director and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra on Friday called on S.P. Vaid, the Jammu and Kashmir Police chief, who requested the filmmaker to highlight the sacrifices made by local policemen while fighting militancy.

"The farmers in the country are in distress as they are not getting remunerative prices and the government is not acting to ensure fair prices."

Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal described it as a victory for truth.
