Woman hospitalised after finding lizard tail in ice cream in Ahmadabad, shop sealed

A woman from the Maninagar area of Ahmedabad was hospitalised after she reportedly discovered a lizard’s tail in a Havmor ice cream cone she was consuming. According to reports, the incident took place after the woman bought an 80 ml Havmor Happy Cone at an ice cream shop at Mahalakshmi Corner on Dev Kutir Avenue. While consuming the ice cream, the woman experienced discomfort and began vomiting. Upon inspection the customers found a lizard’s tail in the ice cream and the woman was hospitalised.

SC directs Centre to set up special POCSO courts on priority basis

The Supreme Court on Thursday directed the Centre to set up on "top priority basis" dedicated POCSO courts to exclusively deal with cases of sexual offences against children.
