11, 6 year-old kids die as house collapse due to landslide in Subramanya
Subramanya: Two young girls died after their house collapsed due to a landslide on Monday evening here at Kumaradhar in Subramanya after continuous rainfall in the region.
The deceased girls have been identified as Shruti (11), and Gyanshree (6).
According to the details, due to continuous rainfall, the house collapsed due to landslide as the hill behind the fell.
The parents of the kids along with their grandmother were also present in the house when the incident took place but the trio escaped from the incident and managed to come out of the house in time while the two kids were trapped under the debris.
Local police and other officials reached the spot and supervised the rescue operation at the site.

Fake account in the name of MP Kota Srinivas Poojari: Case registered
Udupi: A case has been registered at the Udupi Town Police Station after miscreants created a fake account on social media platforms using the name of Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Kota Srinivas Poojari and demanded money.
The complaint states that the accused misused the MP's photo to create a fake account on Instagram and sought money from the public.

MP Poojari's advocate, Shyamsundar Nayari, has urged the police to take appropriate legal action against those involved, alleging that the fake accounts were created with the intention of illegally obtaining money and damaging the MP’s reputation.
