AJ Hospital Mangaluru to offer 50% discount on heart check-up package for two-weeks
Mangaluru: AJ Hospital and Research Centre, to mark ‘World Heart Day’ on September 29 will be offering a special package for heart check-ups for two weeks from September 30 to October 15.
The special package will offer a special discount of 50% on the heart check-up package at Rs. 1500 as against the actual rate of Rs. 3000.
The package will cover investigations like Lipid Profile, Serum Creatinine, ECG, ECHO or TMT, and consultation with a cardiologist.
An official press release from the hospital asserted that those willing to avail the package and the services should undergo 10-12 hours overnight fasting and abstinence from alcohol mandatorily.

Sharon Raj murder case: Accused Greeshma sentenced to death by Kerala court
Thiruvananthapuram (PTI): A court in Kerala on Monday sentenced a woman to death for the sensational murder of her boyfriend in 2022.
The Neyyattinkara Additional District Sessions Court also sentenced her uncle, Nirmalakumaran Nair, the third accused in the case, to three years of imprisonment.
The 24-year-old convict, Greeshma, had sought leniency in sentencing by citing her academic achievements, lack of prior criminal history, and the fact that she is her parents' only daughter.
In its 586-page verdict, the court observed that there was no need to consider the convict's age over the gravity of the crime committed.
Victim Sharon Raj, was a native of Parassala in the Thiruvananthapuram district.
