Bantwal: Man brutally kills son-in-law
Bantwal, June 02: A 40-year-old man brutally killed his son-in-law following family problems on Saturday afternoon at Khattadapaddu in Sarapadi village in the taluk.
The deceased has been identified as Ramananda Poojary (40).
It has been revealed in the primary investigation that Ammu Poojary cut and killed his son-in-law Ramananda Poojary.
The specific reason behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.
Police officials Akshay M Hake and Prasanna Kumar visited the spot and carried out the investigated.

US Consulate in Dubai reportedly attacked
Dubai: Smoke was seen rising from an area near the United States Consulate in Dubai, according to witness accounts cited by Reuters.
There was no immediate official confirmation on the extent of damage or whether there were any casualties in the incident.
Earlier, the US embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital, was also attacked. Authorities reported damage to the premises, but no casualties were recorded.
