Mangaluru: Bearys education group is going to organise workshop for Masjid Office bearers and Khateebs on Nov. 16 titled the 'role of Masjid Jamaths in Educational Awareness in Muslim Community'. The workshop will be held at the Bearys Knowledge Campus at Inoli near Mangalore University in Mangalore. The workshop is expected to be attended and participated by President, Secretaries, and Khateebs of Masjid Jamats from across Dakshina Kannada District.
The workshop will begin at 9:15 am and will continue till 1:30pm in the afternoon.
"The workshop is aimed at providing a comprehensive discussion and dialogue on the various issues and challenges faced by the community and to guide the community".
The keynote address will be delivered by Syed Mohammed Beary, Chairman, Bearys Educational Institutions. BIT Principal , Dr. S I Manjur Basha will be welcoming the gathering. Director BIT Polytechnic, Dr. Aziz Musthafa,the program coordinator will be speaking on Current issues and challenges faced by students. Dr. Abdul Rahiman, a renowned motivator, will speak on Character Building and Interpersonal Relationship.
“Muslim community over the years has developed in education with the awareness created by Muslim scholars (Khateebs, ustads) and Masjid Jamaths. Today, the community is facing many challenges like drug abuse, discontinuing of Education for simple reasons, the lack of awareness about government schemes for the development, managing interpersonal relations. The need of hour is to overcome these challenges and emerge as the leaders. With this intention we have arranged this workshop to discuss the challenges we are facing and the solutions” said, Mr Beary in his press release.

New Delhi (PTI): At least 10 flights were cancelled and more than 270 flights were delayed at the Delhi airport due to fog and low visibility conditions on Tuesday.
An official said 6 arrivals and 4 departures have been cancelled for the day.

Over 270 flights have been delayed and the average delay time for departures is 29 minutes, as per information available on flight tracking website Flightradar24.com.
"Visibility at the airport is improving; however, flight departures for certain destinations may experience delay," Delhi airport operator DIAL said in a post on X.
The Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in the national capital handles around 1,300 flight movements daily.
