Belthangady, Nov 28: Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Education Institutions vice president D. Surendra Kumar and senior Nagaswara artiste Annu Devadiga got the Rajyotsava award, the list of which was announced by the government on Wednesday.

Surendra Kumar

Surendra Kumar who has been working as the vice president of the Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Education Institutions and Indian Jain Milan national president, was born in 1951. He has been working in various institutions  of Dharmasthala including the trustee of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Scheme. He has also involved himself in various other social activities. He is the younger brother of Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade.

Annu Devadiga

Senior Nagaswara instrumentalist Annu Devadiga has dedicated his life for the art. Having education only up to 7th standard, he had started learning Nagaswara at the age of 9 from TN Govindaraj Pillai. Later, he had given various programmes in AIR and Doordarshan. In 2011, he was given Nrutya Academy award.

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority has released the syllabus for the Common Entrance Test (CET) to be conducted in 2025 for admission to professional courses including engineering, on its website https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/.

Executive Director of KEA, H. Prasanna on Saturday issued a notification, advising students to use the syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology from both First and Second PUC as outlined on the portal.

"This syllabus has been prepared based on the NCRTC syllabus and the textbooks published by the School Education, PUE Department," the announcement read. Furthermore, H. Prasanna explained that it has also been reviewed by subject experts from PU colleges.
