Bike rammed into road divider near pump well: Rider dies
Mangaluru, June 05: A bike rider was killed after colliding with a road divider near pump well on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased rider is identified as Rizwan. The accident occurred when Rizwan, along with his friend, was proceeding from the pump well to Nantur.
According to police, Rizwan was seriously injured when he lost control over the two-wheeler and rammed into the road divider. He succumbed to the injuries while being taken to a nearby hospital. The injured has been hospitalized.

Activa rider dies in collision with car near Puttur
Puttur: A man lost his life in an accident involving a car and an Activa scooter at Purusharakatte on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as Ganesh, a Holige trader from Indira Nagar, Purusharakatte. The accident occurred when a car traveling towards Puttur collided with Ganesh's Activa, which was coming from the opposite direction.
The impact of the collision threw Ganesh and his vehicle into a roadside drain, leaving him with severe injuries. He was initially taken to Puttur Hospital and later shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru, where he succumbed to his injuries despite receiving treatment.
