Bike rider injured in bus collision
Bantwal: A bike rider severely injured when a KSRTC bus collided with his bike in Jekribettu village of B.Kasba town in the taluk.
The injured has been identified as Ashwit, a resident of Beltangdi.
The accident occurred when the KSRTC bus was proceeding towards Dharmasthala, and on the same route, the biker was also going towards BC Road for a work.
The injured bike rider has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru.
Police visited the accident spot and conducted an investigation.
A case has been registered in Melkar traffic police station.

Woman accused dies by suicide, alleges harassment by investigating officer
Bengaluru, Nov 22: A 33 year-old woman who is an accused in a case died by suicide on Friday in Banashankari area here, police said.
According to a senior police officer, the woman was an accused in a case being investigated by CID.
In her purported suicide note, she alleged harassment by the investigating officer.

She died by hanging.
A case of abetment to suicide has been registered in Banashankari police station and investigation has been taken up, he said.
