Mangaluru: The three coastal districts in Karnataka (Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada) will have periodical showers of heavy rain throughout the coming week, according to the forecast issued by the Karnataka Meteorological Department.
According to the data released on the official website of the department, the three districts are likely to get continued showers of rain in the coming days.
Parts of Coastal Karnataka including Mangaluru in Dakshina Kannada has been receiving constantly from a couple of days. This is likely to continue over the next week, as per the Meteorological Department’s forecast.
Popular weather prediction app/website Accuweather has also made similar predictions of periodical showers throughout the week across the three districts of the state.

Kalaburagi: A man was found dead, with his body seen hanging, in his own field in Hulasaguda village of Kalagi taluk on Saturday morning. The cause for death is unknown as yet.
The deceased, identified as Revanasiddhappa Shettappa (26), is learned to have been a resident of Hulasaguda village.
Ratkal Police Sub-inspector Sheela Devi reportedly visited the spot where the man’s body was found and inspected it.
Police have registered a case in this regard and are probing the death of the Shettappa.
