Dalai Lama to arrive in Mangaluru on Thursday
Mangaluru: Tibetan Spiritual leader Dalai Lama will arrive in the city on Thursday afternoon on a flight. He is expected to reach Mangaluru International Airport at 12.20 pm on Thursday, DK DC Sasikanth Senthil informed.
According to the reports Dalai Lama will take part in a conference organised by All India Catholic School at Father Muller Hall here in the city on August 30.
He is later expected to leave for Bengaluru on August 31 Saturday morning on flight.

Congress MLC Abdul Jabbar suspended from primary membership of party
Bengaluru: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President DK Shivakumar has passed an order suspending Member of the Legislative Council Abdul Jabbar from the primary membership of the party.
Shivakumar, who is also Deputy Chief Minister, has stated in his order that the MLC is to be suspended with immediate effect.
Jabbar is said to have been suspended for his alleged anti-party activities during the by-election to the Davanagere South Assembly constituency.
