Udupi: Despite the conclusion of two assembly elections and one Lok Sabha election, with the ongoing 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Udupi taluk office premises still display a flex promoting voting awareness for the 2018 Vidhan Sabha elections.
The presence of this flex, which reminds people to vote correctly, is causing confusion among the public. Social activists have urged authorities to promptly remove this outdated flex, especially since it is located near the taluk office, where thousands of people pass by daily.
Previously, there was a flex advertising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which was cleared by authorities in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
