Murdeshwar: A man has been charged with reckless driving after a video showing him performing dangerous stunts in his car on Murdeshwar Beach went viral across local social media channels.

The footage, which has drawn criticism, shows the man speeding and swerving along the sandy shores, with beachgoers nearby.

Superintendent of Police for Uttara Kannada, Narayana M., highlighted the incident by sharing the video on his X account, informing the public that the driver was booked under Section 184 of the Indian Motor Vehicle Act. This section stipulates penalties for dangerous driving, including up to one year of imprisonment, a fine of up to ₹5,000, or both, for a first-time offense.

Dharamsala (PTI): A clinical show by the pacers helped India beat South Africa by seven wickets in the third T20 International to take 2-1 lead in the five-match series here on Sunday.
