Mangaluru: The team of excise officials, who conducted a raid at the place where illegal liquor was stored and seized 7,805 liters of alcohol and two vehicles. Officials estimated the value of the seized spirit at Rs 11 lakh.

The accused Joes Sebastian has been arrested. Based on specific information, received by joint commissioner Shailaja A Koti, the excise department team successfully raided a house on JM road and seized alcohol and vehicles.

The team, which was led by Excise Superintendent Vinod, consisted Mangaluru Excise Deputy Superintendent Amarnath, SS Bhandari, Shiva Prasad, Chetan Kumar, Satish Kumar Kudroli, Suneet, Shobha, and others.
