Puttur: Man kills brother after they fight in drunken state
Puttur: A man on Thursday night was killed by his brother after he triggered a fight with him in an inebriated state here in Kemminje village of the taluk on Thursday night.
The deceased man has been identified as Madevappa, a resident of Hosur in the Haveri district. He was killed by his elder brother Ningana Gowda, who is now absconding.
Ningana Gowda and his younger brother Madevappa were working as laborers in Kemminje. On Thursday night, both were apparently drunk, when they fought.
Madevappa was seriously injured in the fight and died, police sources have said.
Puttur Town Police have registered a case and the investigation is underway.

UAE closes it airspace as Israel, US conduct strikes on Iran: AP
The UAE on Saturday closed its airspace after Iran in joint military excersize bombed Iran.
Similarly, reports also indicated that Qatar, Kuwait and Bahran have also closed their airspace following the explosions.
