Five seriously injured in bike, auto, car collission in Uppinangady
Uppinangady: In a horrific collision between car, bike and an auto rickshaw five people sustained critical injuries on Subramanya State Highway in Uppinangady on Wednesday evening here.
According to the reports, the collision took place between car that was coming towards Kadaba and Auto Rickshaw and bike that were heading towards Uppinangady.
All the three vehicles were completely damaged in the accident in which five people have sustained severe injuries. The victims were soon rushed to nearby hospital for treatment.

CPI stalwart Nallakannu dead
Chennai (PTI): Veteran leader of the CPI, R Nallakannu died here on Wednesday, the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital said.
He was aged about 101, party sources said.
A hospital bulletin said, despite intensive care, he passed away at 1.55 PM on February 25, 2026 following failure of all vital organs.
