Shiroor, Udupi: The students of Green Valley National School and PU College have once again excelled in the ICSE Exams 2020, getting a 100% first-class result for the 15th consecutive year for the school.
A total of 64 students appeared for the examination from the school and all of them have achieved first-class results. 20 students scored 90%+ marks while 33 others scored a high distinction of 85% and above.
Sharmada with 484 marks (96.8%) topped the school while Akshita Rani Shetty and Althamash with 482 marks each (96.4%) stood second in the school charts. Srajan with 477 aggregate marks (95.4%) stood third in the school.

This is the 15th consecutive year students at ICSE Grade X Exams are repeating outstanding performance taking the school performance to a higher level” an official release from the school added.

Udupi (Karnataka), Nov 17: Police on Sunday said that they have arrested an accused in connection with the hit- and-run incident that led to the death of an auto driver at Belapu military colony of Kapu taluk on November 13.
Prajwal Shetty, son of Congress leader Deviprasad Shetty of Belapu, had allegedly sped away after the SUV he was driving rammed into Mohammad Hussain's bike.
Hussain (39) died following the accident.

The Kapu police have arrested Prajwal Shetty on charges of a "hit and run case".
According to the police, Hussain, who was critically injured, was taken to hospital, but soon died due to multiple injuries.
On investigation by the police, it was found that the SUV belonged to Prajwal Shetty. Further probe is on.
