Inland Indoors conferred with Outstanding Interior Designers award 2020
At the “IDWA 2020 (INTERIOR DESIGN WOW AWARDS)” event, a program organized under the joint auspices of the Indian Design School and AK Group, the award for “Outstanding Residential Apartment Interior Project” was conferred on Inland Indoors, one of Karnataka’s leading Interior design companies.
The award was presented to Mr Meraj Yusuf Siraj by Ar Shamala Prabhu, one of the state’s best known architects and NEC member of IIID, in a glittering ceremony that took place at The Gateway Hotel, Mangalore on Friday, February 7.
The IDWA Awards has been jointly instituted by IDS (Indian School of Design) and Apply Ply. It selects the most distinguished achievers from among the state's outstanding interior design companies to recognise and honour them for their outstanding work in the field of interior design and execution. The awardees were selected after evaluation against several highly demanding criteria by a jury consisting of Ar. Namit Tandon and Ar. Pallavi Prakash, two of the country’s most celebrated architects.
Speaking to the media and fraternity, post the award cermony, Meraj Yusuf Siraj, Managing Partner of Inland Indoors said, “I am indeed delighted with this recognition that comes from two of the most respected organizations in the field of Interior Design that are known for their yeoman service to interior design in the state. Awards such as these will go a long way in motivating young people like me who take the challenging path of entrepreneurship. Interior Design is a fairly new concept in India. CPI stalwart Nallakannu dead
Chennai (PTI): Veteran leader of the CPI, R Nallakannu died here on Wednesday, the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital said.
He was aged about 101, party sources said.
A hospital bulletin said, despite intensive care, he passed away at 1.55 PM on February 25, 2026 following failure of all vital organs.
