Mangaluru: The annual day program at Iqra Arabic School was organized recently, with students showcasing their diverse talents through unique cultural performances.

Professor Dr. Ismail H, the chief guest, lauded the institution for its progress. He also emphasized the importance of parents taking an active role in their children's education, both in Quranic studies and formal education.

Maulana Saalim Nadwi, principal of Iqra Arabic School and P S Mohammed, proprietor of Transit Mall, Mangaluru, was present on the occasion.

Maulana Shoaib Husaini Nadwi spoke on the significance of attaining knowledge.

The students showcased their talent during the event. The board members thanked the guests for their support and presence at the annual day program. They thanked Principal Maulana Saalim Nadwi for his guidance and support in making the annual day program a success. They added that Maulana Shoaib Husaini Nadwi’s words left a lasting impact on all in attendance and added that they would continue providing excellent education and nurture the talents of students.

Mangaluru: Three persons, including the owner of a house, were injured when a tree fell on their house near BGS High School near Kavoor on the outskirts of the city today.

The owner of the house Sadananda, his wife Ratna and their daughter were injured. It is learned that a lot of damage has been done to the house.
