Kandaya Adalat at DC office on Nov 12: Minister Khader

Mangaluru, October 16: As people have been facing lot of problems due to some mistakes in the RTC documents, it was planned to conduct a district level Kandaya Adalat at the Deputy Commissioner’s office here on November 12 to find one time solution to the problems at the Assistant Commissioners’ level, Urban Development and Housing Minister UT Khader said.

Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday, the Minister said that already a meeting was conducted by the Revenue Minister in the presence of Urban Development Department Secretary and himself to understand the problems related to revenue issues like land conversion and others in the district level and find permanent solutions. Through Kandaya Adalat, the people who have been facing such problems could get solutions on the spot. The deputy commissioner was directed to conduct such adalats even in taluk levels, he said.

It was decided to form committees in each taluk under the leadership of respective Assistant Commissioners, tahsildars and surveyors and solve the problems in RTC within 45 days, he said.
