Karkala: Woman found dead
Karkala, July 08: A woman was found dead at her house at Ayyappa Nagar in Kukkundoor in the taluk on early sunday morning.
The woman is identified as Fluorine D’Souza (54). She was found dead as if it was a murder. Florine was living with her two children. Her husband Antony D’Souza is resident of Hukkratte in Mala village. It is said that husband and wife have differences and living separately. One son was with her. As there was holiday for school, he had been to his father’s house and Fluorine was alone at home. Noticing this, she might have killed by somebody, it is said.
Police registered a case and investigating.

US Consulate in Dubai reportedly attacked
Dubai: Smoke was seen rising from an area near the United States Consulate in Dubai, according to witness accounts cited by Reuters.
There was no immediate official confirmation on the extent of damage or whether there were any casualties in the incident.
Earlier, the US embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital, was also attacked. Authorities reported damage to the premises, but no casualties were recorded.
The developments come amid heightened tensions in the region, with Iran continuing to target US interests in the Middle East following deadly attacks launched on Saturday by Israel and the United States.
