Kasaragod: Boy dies after train hits him
Kasaragod, Lune 24: A three and half year old boy died and his brother sustained severe injuries when a speeding train hits them at Mogral near Kumble on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased boy is identified as Bilal, son of Siddiq of Mogral Koppalam. His brother Ismail (5) seriously injured and he was admitted a hospital in Mangaluru. As their house is situated near the railway track, both of them went near the track in search of their mother who has gone out. At this time, the Kannur-bound train came on the track and hits the boys.
Kasaragod police and railway police visited the spot and enquiring the incident.

US Consulate in Dubai reportedly attacked
Dubai: Smoke was seen rising from an area near the United States Consulate in Dubai, according to witness accounts cited by Reuters.
There was no immediate official confirmation on the extent of damage or whether there were any casualties in the incident.
Earlier, the US embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital, was also attacked. Authorities reported damage to the premises, but no casualties were recorded.
The developments come amid heightened tensions in the region, with Iran continuing to target US interests in the Middle East following deadly attacks launched on Saturday by Israel and the United States.
