Kasargod: Gang kidnaps mother-son
Kasargod: A gang of miscreants approached in a car and abducted a woman and his son in broad daylight today morning at Chittarikkal.
The victims are Velladka resident Manoj’s wife Meenu (23) and their son Sai Krishna (3).
The incident took place when the mechanic Manoj left home. When the miscreants came in a car, Meenu called and informed Manoj about this. When he called back, Meenu’s mobile was switched off. By the team locals rushed to the spot, the miscreants took away the duo. The locals then informed the police and the police have started the investigation.
SP Dr. A. Srinivas, DYSP PK Sudhakaran, PSI Ranjit Ravindran have visited the spot and launched the investigation.

Not confident ceasefire in Gaza will hold: US President Donald Trump
Washington (AP): US President Donald Trump said Hamas is weakened, but he's hardly certain that the temporary truce between Israel and Hamas will hold.
“I'm not confident,” Trump told reporters. “That's not our war. It's their war.”
He said that his administration “might” help rebuild Gaza, which he compared to a “massive demolition site.”
“Some beautiful things could be done with it,” said Trump, the real estate developer turned commander in chief, noting the territory's coastline and “phenomenal” weather and location. “Some fantastic things could be done with Gaza. Some beautiful things could be done with Gaza.”
