Kundapur: The students wearing the Hijab were reportedly restricted from entering classrooms even on Monday at the Kundapur Government Junior College.

The students have reportedly been assigned a separate room in the premises of the college, where they have been asked to stay.

The students were barred from entering college and attending classes amidst the Hijab row resulting in the students being forced to sit outside the college gate by the roadside. This occurrence had received nationwide media coverage.

The college development committee had called a meeting on Saturday to discuss the issue of the Hijab-wearing students where it was decided that they be assigned any vacant classroom inside the college premises.

In line with the decision, the students were restricted from attending classes and asked to sit in the separate classroom assigned to them by the college on Monday.
