Udupi: A week-long Yakshagana and Talamaddale program ‘Sri Krishna Rasayanam’, starting Monday, March 20, is being held at Rajangana, Sri Krishna Mutt, in Udupi.
The program is organized by the Kuriya Vitthala Shastri Samskrutika Pratishthana of Ujire and the Paryaya Sri Krishnapur Mutt in memory of Gurikara Nedle Narasimha Bhat, said the convener of the event said in a press release.
The program is also being held as a part of the silver jubilee celebrations of the Kuriya Vitthala Shastri Samskrutika Pratishthana.
The cultural fest ‘Sri Krishna Rasayanam’ will include seven Talamaddale shows based on various episodes (prasangas) related to Lord Krishna. The shows will be held from 7 pm to 9.45 pm, from March 20 to 26, on a daily basis.

Mangaluru: Three persons, including the owner of a house, were injured when a tree fell on their house near BGS High School near Kavoor on the outskirts of the city today.
The owner of the house Sadananda, his wife Ratna and their daughter were injured. It is learned that a lot of damage has been done to the house.
