Mangaluru, June 8: Land Trades Builders & Developers, a renowned real estate firm, marked the inauguration of their 40th project, 'Nakshatra,' with an event held in Gandhinagar on Thursday, June 8. MLC Harish Kumar was the chief guest at the ceremony.
During the inauguration, distinguished guests unveiled the plaque and a statue of Lord Ganesh. Mayor Jayanand Anchan praised the managing director of Land Trades, K Srinath Hebbar, for his contributions to the development of Mangaluru. Anchan also expressed his intention to recommend Hebbar for the prestigious Rajyotsava award as recognition for his remarkable contributions to the city.
Speaking at the event, Sandhya Mohan Acharya, the Corporator of Mannagudda ward, expressed her pride in having a skyscraper like 'Nakshatra' in her ward. She commended Land Trades for promptly resolving any construction-related issues faced by the neighborhood.

Ravichandran S, the General Manager of Karnataka Bank, reflected on the transformation of Mangaluru over the years, noting the absence of high-rise buildings when he first arrived in the city in 1986. He credited Srinath Hebbar for playing a vital role in Mangaluru's progress and expressed confidence that Land Trades would continue to excel in delivering quality apartments.

Jaipur (PTI): Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's century went in vain as Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Rajasthan Royals by five wickets in their IPL match here on Saturday.
Sooryavanshi hammered his second hundred in the IPL — a 37-ball 103 — as Rajasthan Royals put on board a strong 228 for six after they were put in to bat first.
Sooryavanshi got plenty of support from Dhruv Jurel, who made a 35-ball 51 and, helped the teenager milk 112 runs for the second wicket. In the death overs, Donovan Ferreira (33) played some big shots as RR went past the 200-run mark.
But, SRH chased down the target of 229 with nine balls to spare, with Ishan Kishan top-scoring with a 74 off 31 balls. Abhishek Sharma chipped in with 57 off 29 deliveries as SRH reached 229 for 5 in 18.3 overs.
