Bantwal: The CCTV camera footage of a leopard roaming in the front yard of a house in Kempugudde in the taluk has triggered panic among the locals.

The camera has captured a video of the wild cat visiting the front yard of a local named Abraham Varghese.

The panicked locals have complained to the officials of the Forest Department, urging them to capture the leopard.

The pet dogs in the nearby houses went missing a few days ago, and there is a suspicion of the canines being killed by the leopard.

Mangaluru: Women's wing of the Hidayah Foundation is set to host a one-day grand fair under the title ‘Fusion Fair’ at the Town Hall (Mini Hall) in the city on Tuesday, October 8 from 10 am to 6 pm.

The fair will feature food, clothing, mehandi and accessories stalls, and will be exclusive to women.

The fair is a part of the foundation’s fundraising event for charity.
