Mangaluru, Dec 28: Housing and Urban Development Minister UT Khader said that a journalist of an electronic media has said to be insulted the Prophet which is condemnable.

The Prophet was not just limited to Muslim community. The entire mankind has been respecting and following his messages and ideologies. The journalists who are in a responsible position should not disrespect such an ideal personality and behave irresponsibly. Journalists have a great responsibility in the society. They should spread peace and solace in the society instead of disturbing it. He would speak to Information department minister, he said.

People and organizations should respond quietly and take proper legal action in order to avoid the repetition of such incidents in future. Instead of conducting protest meets which could disturb peace in the society, the organizations and people need to think about lodging complaints to the police and concerned departments to take legal actions, he said.
