Light earthquake tremors felt in Sullia, Madikeri, Somwarpet?
Madikere/Sulia: People in D.K district, Sulya, Kodagu district, Madikere and Somwarpet taluk reported feeling light earthquake tremors at about 12:53 pm today. Window glasses of big buildings shook. Crockery rattled and showcase glasses inside homes shook.
People in several places ran out of their homes in panic. Drivers astonished as parked vehicles jolted. Earthquake felt in rural areas as well. The earth reportedly vibrated for around 2-3 seconds.
It is learned that many of the Sullia Taluk experienced the light earthquake tremors. It has been reported that the earth vibration was felt between 12: 50 pm and 1: 10 pm in parts of Madappadi, Harihara Pallathadka, Inekidu, Balugodu, Kollamogra, and Kalamkaru.

US Consulate in Dubai reportedly attacked
Dubai: Smoke was seen rising from an area near the United States Consulate in Dubai, according to witness accounts cited by Reuters.
There was no immediate official confirmation on the extent of damage or whether there were any casualties in the incident.
Earlier, the US embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital, was also attacked. Authorities reported damage to the premises, but no casualties were recorded.
The developments come amid heightened tensions in the region, with Iran continuing to target US interests in the Middle East following deadly attacks launched on Saturday by Israel and the United States.
