Mangaluru: Accused arrested after four decades
Mangaluru: The Mangaluru rural police arrested a 56-year-old man in connection with an attempt to murder case. The accused had assaulted a person named Ganesh Shetty in 1980, and was on the run for four decades.
The arrested accused is Avil D'Souza (56), a resident of Jappinamogaru.

It has been learnt that an attempt to murder case was registered at the Mangaluru rural police station in 1980. Without attending court, the accused was hiding in a foreign country for almost 39 years.
Based on a tip-off, the Mangaluru police arrested D'Souza from a house at Kumpala.

The verified footage shows an Iranian drone hitting a tower in Manama.
A loud explosion is heard at the moment of impact, followed by a large fire and thick plumes of smoke billowing from the building.
