Mangaluru: The body of a married woman who had gone missing from her house overnight, was found in a well on Tuesday evening here in the city.

The deceased woman has been identified as Ashalatha (36), a resident of Badagulipadi in Mangaluru Taluk.

The woman reportedly went to sleep after dinner on July 26 night and was not to be found on July 27 morning. The family members, shocked by the development had filed a missing complaint at Bajpe Police Station after enquiring about her to all their relatives and friends.

Ashalatha’s body was found at a well near Kollabettu. Bajpe Police are investigating the case.
