Mangaluru: Closing ceremony of HIF's Seerath Campaign, inauguration of HIF's new auditorium held
Mangaluru: The closing ceremony of the Seerath Campaign by Highland Islamic Forum (HIF) and the inauguration of the HIF auditorium was held on Friday evening here at Masjid-e-Ehsaan in the city.
Mohammed Kunhi, Manager of Shanti Prakashan was present at the event as the Chief Guest. Highland Educational and Cultural Centre (HECC) Founder President Ahmed Ak, HECC President Mohammed Arabi, HECC former President Mohiddin Kunhi were present as the guests of honor at the event.
The new HIF Auditorium was inaugurated with dua from Moulana Tayab, Khatib of Masjid-e-Ehsan.
The event was presided over by HIF President Sajid AK. He also welcomed the guests and audience to the event.
The event began with the recitation of verses of the Holy Quran by Mahfooz. Rizwan Pandeshwar presented vote of thanks towards the end of the event.

Fire breaks out at Yadadri power plant in Telangana, no one injured
Hyderabad (PTI): A fire broke out in the recently commissioned third unit of Yadadri Thermal Power Station in Nalgonda district of Telangana on Sunday, police said.
"No one was injured in the incident which occurred at around noon and the blaze was brought under control," a senior Police official told PTI.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, he said.
Thick black smoke emanated from the place, though police described it as a "minor" fire.
The third unit of Yadadri Thermal Power Station was commissioned last week.
The thermal power plant with five units with a capacity of 800 MW each, is located at Veerlapalem Village, Damaracherla Mandal, Nalgonda district.
