Mangaluru: DK Youth Congress President Mithun Rai test positive for COVID-19
Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada Youth Congress President and Congress candidate from DK in 2019 Lok Sabha, Election Mithun Rai on Friday tested positive for Coronavirus.
Mithun himself shared the information through his twitter handle on Friday afternoon. In the tweet Mithun Rai confirmed that he had tested positive for the virus and noted that he was under quarantine at Bengaluru.
He also hoped to recover soon and be back to the service of his followers and people.
“I have been tested COVID19 positive & I am under Quarantine at Bangalore. With all your love and blessings, I will recover and be back soon at your service” Mithun wrote on twitter.
He further urged people who were in close proximity in last few days to get themselves tested for COVID-19.

Leh-bound SpiceJet plane faces engine issue; returns to national capital
New Delhi (PTI): A Leh-bound SpiceJet aircraft returned to the national capital due to an engine issue on Tuesday morning, according to a source.
There were around 150 people on board the Boeing 737 aircraft that was operating the flight SG121, the source added.
When contacted, a SpiceJet spokesperson said a flight operating from Delhi to Leh on Tuesday returned to Delhi after experiencing a technical issue.
"The aircraft landed safely in Delhi, and all passengers were disembarked normally," the spokesperson said in a statement.
The source said the aircraft suffered an engine issue.
