Mangaluru: The ‘Fusion Fair’, which was set to be organized by the Women's Wing of the Hidayah Foundation on Tuesday, October 8, has been postponed due to the passing of businessman and community leader BM Mumtaz Ali. The organizers have announced that a new date for the charity event will be decided later.

The fair, which is exclusively for women, was planned as a fund-raising event and included food, clothing, and accessories stalls.

BM Mumtaz Ali, brother of former MLA Mohiuddeen Bava, had gone missing after his car was found near the Kuloor bridge in Mangaluru on Sunday. A search operation involving the police, NDRF, SDRF, and Coast Guard teams was launched, and his body was recovered from the River Phalguni at Kuloor on Monday.

New Delhi (PTI): A Leh-bound SpiceJet aircraft returned to the national capital due to an engine issue on Tuesday morning, according to a source.

There were around 150 people on board the Boeing 737 aircraft that was operating the flight SG121, the source added.

When contacted, a SpiceJet spokesperson said a flight operating from Delhi to Leh on Tuesday returned to Delhi after experiencing a technical issue.

"The aircraft landed safely in Delhi, and all passengers were disembarked normally," the spokesperson said in a statement.

The source said the aircraft suffered an engine issue.
