Mangaluru: Highland Islamic Forum, KMC Blood Bank to organise blood donation camp on Sunday
Mangaluru: Highland Islamic Forum (HIF), Mangaluru in association with KMC Blood Bank, Mangaluru will organise a blood donation camp on Sunday here in the city.
The camp will be organised between 9:00 am to 1:30 pm at HECC near Unity Hospital, Vaslane in Mangaluru.
According to the organisers special arrangement will also be made for the women donors during the camp. The event is being organised and coordinated by HIF Medical Cell.
The organisers have requested people to turn up in numbers and to donate their blood for noble cause of saving lives of others.

US Embassy advises Americans to reconsider Hajj travel
Riyadh: The United States Embassy in Saudi Arabia has advised American citizens to reconsider travel to the country, including participation in the annual Hajj pilgrimage, amid the ongoing regional conflict.
In a travel advisory, the embassy urged US nationals to exercise caution and review their plans in light of the current security situation.
It specifically advised Americans to reconsider “participation in Hajj this year” to the holy city of Mecca.
